Once again, cloud cover kept the temperature overnight at a manageable level and the thermometers said 15 degrees when we headed to the amenities block around 7:00am.
Last evening we ordered our breakfast so all we needed to do today was to dress and be at the café at 8:30am. The café opened just before 8:30am and our meals were cooked and ready by 8:35am. He had a full breakfast of bacon, fried eggs, sausage, hash brown and tomato whilst she had bacon and scrambled eggs.
We spent an hour at the café and returned to the caravan for coffee.
Today we had a lazy day. We swapped our summer wardrobe for the winter one and he repacked the rear of the car with soiled clothing packed into the back.
He also helped a couple of single ladies by repairing their freshwater hose connections.
We played cards later in the afternoon and the cards progressed into a happy hour. During happy hour we had a look at the weather forecast for the coming days. There is an east coast low forecast that should not impact us however, showers are predicted for Coonabarabran, Vittoria (Macquarie Woods) and Lake Wallace. The forecast for the day we plan to return home is fine. We will address the weather each day and make any changes as we deem to be necessary.
We purchased the best McDonald ever for our evening meal. Everything was perfect.
