6 April 2018 – Wagga Wagga to Jugiong NSW

Another fine and warm day in Wagga Wagga.

“He” called the Nissan Dealer early to confirm that the final part had arrived.  The staff member took his time in confirming the arrival as he could not initially locate the part.  The reason that the part could not be located was that it had been taken by the mechanic and was being installed.

While “She” prepared the caravan for departure, “He” spent time in the conference centre finalising the removal of the sound equipment and stacking of chairs.

At 9:00am, “She” and a friend headed into Wagga Wagga to purchase food etc for the next couple of days.  “He” took the courtesy car back to the dealer who was located across the road from the Nissan Dealer.  After returning the loan car, “He” crossed the road and collected the repaired Nissan Navara.

The car was finished and just after 10:00am, “He” left the dealership and returned to the festival site.

Having already prepared the caravan for departure, it didn’t take long to repack the Navara and then hook-up the caravan.

Just before lunch and after saying our “goodbyes” we departed Wagga Wagga and headed for our intended overnight stop at Jugiong.  We spoke with another couple who indicated they were also going to Jugiong, so it was agreed that we would all get together after we arrived.

We arrived at Jugiong around 1:30pm and setup camp with two of our friends.

We had a relatively quiet afternoon before having our evening meal in the local hotel.  Unfortunately, one of our friends received some bad news but was able to make a call to Germany using one of our phones that had an allowance for international calls.

We didn’t stay up late as we both wanted a good 10 hours of sleep.
