23 August 2016 – Mildura VIC

Today was planned to be a relatively quiet day.  We actually slept in a little before leaving just after 9:30am, with our friends, to make a further visit to Woodsies Gem shop where we wanted to watch a demonstration.

First stop was to a Repco store where “He” purchased a torque wrench.  Following the recent replacement of the caravan tyres, “He” wanted to be sure that all of the wheels were tightened correctly.  Whilst the boys were at Repco, the girls paid a quick visit to a Rays Outdoor store that was closing down.  As a result of that visit, we purchased another accessory for our Cobb Cooker paying half of the recommended retail price.

We arrived at Woodsies just in time for the 11:00am demonstration.  After the demonstration we enjoyed their coffee (still the best since we have left home) and later after looking at more gems, we had lunch there.

We did a little grocery shopping before returning to the caravan park.  “He” checked  the tension on the wheel nuts (found to be correct) and repacked the back of our car to accommodate for the fruit that was purchased yesterday.  We started happy hour early (it was 5:00pm somewhere!) and finished happy hour at a reasonable time to allow us to cook our evening meal (we had purchased a chicken from Coles but cooked potatoes to go with it).

The evening was spent watching television (“He” watched television through closed eyes).  It rained during the evening.
